Former Texas Rangers Pitcher Endorses Chuck Vanover

Chuck Vanover is the best choice for Judge of Tarrant County Criminal Court 8!

I first met Chuck Vanover while I was playing Professional Baseball for the Texas Rangers. At the time, Chuck was a Police Officer with the D/FW Airport Department of Public Safety. I saw in Chuck what most people see in Chuck. He is a man of integrity, character and a man that cares about our community and upholding the laws of our great state. Chuck is an advocate for law enforcement and the rule of law but is as fair minded as they come. He has worked to keep our children and community safe and out of harm’s way both as a police officer and now as a prosecutor.

There is not a better qualified candidate for Judge in Tarrant County than Chuck Vanover. Get out and vote Chuck Vanover for Judge!! He will not disappoint!!

An Open Letter to the Voters of Tarrant County From Former Ambassador at Large Under President Ronald Reagan

Endorsement of the Candidacy of Chuck Vanover for Judge, Tarrant County Criminal Court # 8

America’s strength rests with our States and communities.   The people we elect to local offices are the first line of protection for our lives, our rights and liberties and our property.  All of us are familiar with the posturing, easy talk and empty promises of our election cycles that too often leave us no option but to vote for a candidate that is the best of a bad lot.  But not in 2014.   Next year the citizens of Tarrant County  have an opportunity to vote for a candidate who talks straight, keeps his word and lives by the values that most of us believe in. Chuck Vanover is that candidate.

Chuck  is  standing  in the 2014 elections as a candidate for  Judge of Tarrant County Criminal Court # 8. I am proud to publicly endorse his candidacy and pledge  my energetic  support.    A native of Tarrant County, Chuck has grown up in the Ft Worth area, gained his education, made his career and established his family in the county he wants to serve in a new capacity.
Chuck understands the world as it is and knows that Texas is moving toward a new period in  our extraordinary history as a people.  He   believes that our future is what we citizen voters make it.  A native Texan, I have travelled a long career in America’s  military and diplomatic service.  I have seen many once great societies brought to ruin by a lack of civic courage and engagement by citizens who remained indifferent or aloof from the events of the day until it was too late to act.  Chuck is not such a bystander.  He is a leader among a new generation of Texans.

America’s founders rightly placed a strong emphasis on a system of just laws and the key role that local magistrates and judges play in maintaining an open, just and prosperous society.  Our history shows that the best judges have had a clarity of thought, solid character, a knowledge and reverence for the law tempered with a passion for equal justice, and an understanding of the community they serve. Chuck Vanover fits that profile.

Please support Chuck Vanover for Tarrant County Criminal Court # 8 in the 2014 elections.

Fred J. Moore, Special Agent, United States Department of Defense (ret) Endorses Chuck Vanover

My name is Fred J. Moore, Special Agent, United States Department of Defense, retired.  I also am a Special Agent for the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) retired.  I served my country in the  United States Marine Corps (active duty) and US Army Reserve (reserve duty) and retired with twenty-two years of service.

Being in law enforcement most of my adult life I have been fortunate to have worked with many good people in the federal, state and local levels.  People that are of the highest character, that are good leaders, of the  finest morals and great friends.  Each of these individuals possess traits that I consider to be inherent in someone that would have a great command presence, a good leader of people and a good person.

All of the aforementioned are traits I know to be what makes up the person of Charles (Chuck) L. Vanover.  I have known Chuck for approximately twenty years.  I knew his father before him.  I can say without any hesitation that I would support Chuck Vanover in any endeavor he chooses.  I support Chuck, specifically, in the endeavor to be Judge of Tarrant County Criminal Court #8.  I feel that Chuck will bring a fair minded approach to this position and will approach his cases from a most considered position.  His honesty, integrity and sense of duty comes from a wonderful family, great work ethic and experience.  I can think of no better hands, in which the citizens of Tarrant County will be, than Chuck Vanover.  I am proud to call him a friend.

Sincerely,

Fred J. Moore
